The Pest Control and Disinfection Business is facing array of challenges in the country, which needs to be addressed to move the industry to another level.

To achieve this, a new book titled: Predictive Models For Starting And Growing Pest Control And Disinfection Business In Nigeria, has been launched by Rotimax Integrated Services Ltd, a leading pest control services and training provider, to proffer solutions to challenges facing the industry.

Written by the CEO of the company, Tolulope Caleb Rotimi, and forwarded by the Registrar of Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria, Dr Yakubu M. Baba, the book enumerated the pitfalls of the industry, while proffering maximum solutions to these challenges.

He said: “In order to correct the wrong impression about the pest control industry and other biases, I was enthusiastic to create awareness about the profession, thereby penning my ideas and experiences into a book where readers (both professionals and novice) can understand the nitty-gritty of the industry. It is a must-read for all knowledge seekers and prospective pest controllers.”

Using storytelling session to buttress home his ideas has made it easier for even a novice to read and explore the profession as though an expert with guidelines on regulations guidelines and chemical compositions.

According to the writer, the book is designed to meet the need of pest controllers to know more about the industry; intending entrepreneurs, to know what it takes to grow into pest control services and remain relevant in the industry; job seekers who struggle to understand which skills are in highest demand, where and which career paths are most profitable; employers, to have a better understanding of sustainability of their business; and students at tertiary institutions of learning, to serve as a guide in preparing them for entrepreneurship journey.
