Dr. Kanayo F. Nwanze is the immediate former President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

Rose Suniso Maxwell Gidado

Panellist

Rose Suniso Maxwell Gidado a PhD holder in Industrial Microbiology is the Country Coordinator OFAB (Nigeria) & the Deputy Director National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA). She has been facilitating research collaborations on biotechnology both at local and international levels.

Dr. Rufus Eseoghene Ebegba (Ph.D)

Dr. Rufus Ebegba is the Pioneer Director, General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA) since 18 th April, 2015 till date. He is responsible for the provision of regulatory framework, institutional and administrative mechanisms for safety measures in the application of modern biotechnology in Nigeria

Amaka Chukwudum is the President and founder of Dynamic Greener Agropreneur Association and vice President of Women Sans Frontier Cooperative. Nicknamed ‘The Unrepentant Farmer’ a title she bears with pride, Amaka has written many books on diverse interests in Agriculture.

Dr. Tunde Amole is the Country Representative, International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI). As a livestock scientist with over 10 years’ experience in the production and improvement of livestock feed resources and providing quality feed resources in the dry season, Dr. Amole who holds a PhD and M. Agric.

John Ogunlela has a degree in Agriculture from the University of Benin (1991) has once served as a Senior Special Assistant to the governor of Osun State on African Financing and Investments. He blogs mostly on national development and makes contributions with a wide coverage but with particular interest in agriculture and manufacturing.

Dr Kenton Dashiell

Kenton Dashiell is the Deputy Director General for Partnerships for Delivery. Dr Dashiell received degrees from Purdue University, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Florida in Agronomy and Crop Breeding. He was the Soybean Breeder for IITA based in Ibadan, Nigeria from 1983 to 2001.

Brian Christopher Udoh is an Agricultural Policy Advisor who works closely with the economic network inside the Consulate General and other diplomatic representation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Nigeria.

Frederick Schreurs is the Chief Executive Officer of the Business Incubation Platform (BIP) of the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), where he oversees and directs the activities of all BIP units that include IITA GoSeed, Aflasafe, Nodumax, AgriServe, and the IITA Youth Agripreneurs (IYA).

Mr. Francis Ikechukwu Mba is the Chairman of Plantain City Project.He studied applied microbiology at Anambra State University of Technology.He is a plantain farmer with about 30acres of plantain at Igborode road,off idiroko road, Ogun state.

Dr Efem N. Ubi

Dr Efem N. Ubi, obtained his Ph.D in Contemporary International Relations from Jilin University, China. He is a Senior Research Fellow and Head, Division of International Economic Relations with the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Lagos, Nigeria.
