The National Center for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM) took part this year in agriculture with a large number of technologies for medium and small farmers and processors.
Engineer Jackson Babajid, chief agrologist at the center, who took Daily trust around the booth, said they came up with new technologies for the show this year.
Some of the technologies include an integrated rice grinding system, in which mill and stone rice.
He said that the system was built at the request of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, chief of Audu Ogbe.
The machine, which costs N1.3 million, can use a stone without rice, which was the main problem of local processors, adding that two or three people can combine their resources to own the system.
The center also demonstrated a new station for roasting, polishing and drying melons, which until now was carried out separately on different machines. However, it will cost N300,000.
In addition, there are cassava planting and harvesting machines at the center stables, which will help farmers to fully mechanize cassava production, a pile making machine presented by the center last year, as well as large-grain farming machines, among others.
